Gaspe peninsula and Magdalen Islands' Pathfinders Network

FOCUS ON OUR HEALTH!

BECAUSE TOGETHER WE TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER!

The entire population is affected by the pandemic. The psychosocial repercussions are present and will continue to be felt over a long period of time, months or even years. Thus, the MSSS has deployed a psychosocial recovery project in all regions of Quebec.

In this context, the network of scouts-watchmen is deployed in Gaspésie and the Magdalen Islands and has as its main objective to increase the adaptability and resilience of individuals and the community in the context of a pandemic and post-pandemic. Indeed, the health sector alone cannot be responsible for the recovery of an entire population. In this sense, all citizens of the region are invited to contribute to it by becoming a scout-watchman!

GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE TRAINING

At the end of the training, the scouts-monitors will be able to identify, as well as take action for the promotion and prevention of health. They will also be able to contribute to increasing the adaptive capacity and resilience of individuals and the community.
